Are you stressed?

Being stressed can dramatically impact your ability to stay healthy, lose weight, maintain relationships and so more much.

“you can't take it with you! ”

There is nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night worrying about something, as it will quickly become a mountain of mental destruction. Breathe, when you feel tense, take 10 slow, deep breaths in through your nose, out through your mouth focus on a positive thought and repeat.

Exercise, walk, stretch, move about. Staying physically fit keeps you mentally fit, emotionally calm, and at peace.

Touch, hug someone, hold hands, stroke a pet, make non-sexual physical contact with people, brush your hair. After all think about when you sit with someone who is very poorly - it's natural instinct to hold their hand -why, because it's a way of telling people you are there to support or letting people know that you need support.

Communicate, be honest with yourself and others. Ask for what you want, don't be afraid to express your true feelings when they occur.

Drink at least eight, 8 oz. glasses of good water a day. This flushes toxins out of our body. Being de-hydrated can make stress worse.

See the humor in life. Laugh at your self and life. Have fun and "play" - lighten your mood

Allow yourself to be human, don't be so hard on yourself. Forgive your self and others. Slow down and enjoy being alive. No one is perfect and nor should they be. We are different for a reason.

Quit worrying about the future, do you really want to know what lays ahead? Forget worrying about the past, it's gone so don't wasteanymore time or energy on it. Concentrate on what you can do NOW, live for today - as the saying goes "you can't take it with you!"

Make a TO DO list of your essential tasks for each month. Schedule both play time and free time, and do both activities.

Say "NO" - Allow yourself to say "NO" to some requests. Don't over commit yourself. Put yourself first; say YES to you. If someone does not like it, it's their problem not yours.

Change is constant. You can choose to change your choice/direction anytime you want to do so.

Don't be a "fix it " person for people's problems, it's good to support others but you simply cannot fix their lives, they need to do it for themselves.

Try support providers such as MIND - they are amazing
