Instructions:

Place the beef in a bowl with the ginger, sugar, soy, spring onions and lime, stir to combine coating the beef in the sauce and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

 

Preheat a frying pan, add a spray of rapeseed oil and stir fry the pepper and garlic for 3-4 minutes.  

 

Add beef and marinade sauce to the pan and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.

 

Add the noodles, stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

 

Serve straight away on a warmed plate

  • 100g rump steak cut into strips

  • 150g fresh/ready to use egg noodles

  • 1 small green pepper, deseeded and sliced

  • 1 spring onion, cleaned and thinly sliced

  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger

  • 2 tsp soy sauce

  • 1 small garlic clove, peeled and diced

  • ½ tsp brown sugar

  • juice and zest of 1 lime

  • rapeseed oil spray
